Channah's Birthday at Gan
This is one of those cases where a video says so much more than a regular post. suffice it to say that seeing my daughter this happy, and this loved, this excited about life(!), is the biggest reason we decided that we needed to move.
I have NEVER seen Channah as happy as she was today.

That is so sweet! Made me teary-eyed at the end when they even sang in English for her. Rachel, it's so nice to see!
Oy, these hormones have me reaching for the Kleenex at every video I've seen today... but this is really SO sweet!
And yes, I agree.. "Let's give the kids sharp needles and have them run at the birthday girl!"

And I think the carrying you in a chair thing is a Jewish thing. I never heard of it until I got "in the fold" And I would never in a billion years let anyone do that to me! Channah is way braver then me!
Speaking of Channah, how could she NOT be thrilled off her head!? I think that was the biggest and best birthday party ever! And it is proof that an amazing memorable party does not have to cost a billion dollars!
That balloon game is definitely an Israeli thing....
I did it in windows movie maker- free program that came with my computer. Works pretty well. We are doing a home party as well I think becuase we said we were going to before we knew how awesome the school party would be, but this will likely be the last time!
I am going to have to check out Window's Movie Maker! I want to be cool like you!
Definitely! I wish they had awesome stuff like that here! It's all academic here so I doubt they'd go all out. Plus I think Asher would implode if he had all that attention!!! Too much!
This past year he said he wanted dinner at home with Tomato soup, "daddy bread", and salad. Go figure!
The video made me cry too.
