An Israeli Channukah
Here in Israel, Chanuka is a HUGE deal. Seriously, it is like Christmas in the rest of the world. Everywhere you go they are playing Chanukah carols. All of the schools do pageants. All the schools- dati or chiloni, they all spend weeks working up to their Chanuka mesibot (parties). PArents are invited, dances and songs are learned.
It is a BIG deal.
So I figured that rather than just describe the mesiba with a few pictures, I shot video of a lot of it. Rather than having to buffer all of them seperatly, I just linked them all into one with some commentary.
Remember, this is just a local public school. It is not a private school, and it is a mix of dati and chiloni kids.
